Is Vitamin E water soluble like Vitamin C. I want to know what percentage of people have shown the side effects from Vitamin E overdose you have mentioned in the article.
Vita-dose.com answer: Unlike vitamin C, vitamin E is fat soluble and poorly soluble in water. Some limited solubility is possible in water with the right formulation. So when you see a tea or sports drink with vitamin E listed as an ingredient, realize that is probably not much.
The National Institute of Medicine does not list numbers for vitamin E overdose as far as I can tell. These are relatively rare cases, and you are very unlikely to encounter coagulation problems if you keep your dose close to the specified upper limit.
